Matthew + Madelyn’s wedding day was colorful, emotional and rained relentlessly. The Pacific Northwest never disappoints when we’re hoping for moody feels.
The two met in the fall of 2017 at an intensive worldview summit. They skipped pleasantries and went straight to talking about values, religious viewpoints and built their relationship on a foundation based on their core character. Matthew and Madelyn managed a long distance relationship from Colorado and Texas, respectively. They decided to meet with their closest friends and family to get married just outside of Portland at Horning’s Hideout for an intimate and beautifully curated, Alice in Wonderland themed wedding.
