Christina and Alex are the coolest. Like for reals. Christina and I emailed back and forth for about a year and a half between when we decided we HAD to work together for her wedding at Mt Hood Organic Farms in the Gorge, and we talked about pretty much nothing wedding related. We bonded over our mutual awesome taste in music (The Smiths, Joy Division, the EMO scene, sad girl tracks, ya know, the good stuff), Joan Didion, our love for travel and the outdoors, among so many other things.
I knew this day was going to be a special one, but I could not have anticipated the level of awesome it achieved.
They got ready at the Society Hotel in Bingen, then celebrated the whole wedding day at Mt Hood Organic Farms. This venue, oh my goodness. Just look.
The detail and thought that went into planning this spectacular day is evident; it was so beautifully curated. Christina actually brought little brass figurines from her and Alex’s home to add to the look of the reception space. Then you have the natural beauty of Mt Hood itself (we took a group photo with all of their guests after the ceremony in front of Hood). I’m so happy I got to be a part of it.
